Archives - Irma La Douce

by Julian Moore, David Heneker and Monty Norman
Music by Marguerite Monnot

Directed by Hugh Croydon

Saturday 16th – Saturday 23rd March 1985 in the Auditorium

The musical love story of Irma, a good hearted prostitute from Paris, and Nestor the student, who ‘killed’ for his love and was sent to Devil’s Island. A triumphant success for Elizabeth Seal and Keith Michell at the Lyric in 1958 and for Shirley Maclaine and Jack Lemmon in the Billy Wilder film version.

Part of the Barn’s 1984/1985 season
